After some research I landed on a documentation on Microsoft that helped to achieve this. It is highly useful feature and worth knowing by anyone who spends lot of time presenting either live on different screen/projector or in virtual meeting (LiveMeeting, WebEx etc.) This post will help anyone who wants to know “how to view notes while presenting powerpoint”

View Notes Privately on other screen

MS PowerPoint has a Presenter View, which is a great way to view your presentation with speaker notes on one computer, while your audience views the notes-free presentation on a different monitor/projector. After bringing a revolutionary idea of bringing VoIP to cellphones today I received an email from Republic Wireless to get hold of a free international number.

Republic Wireless call this a world Wi-Fi number. World Wi-Fi number is a secondary number that will be assigned to your primary domestic number and the republic wireless number. Anyone would be able to call you from any country for very cheap prices (sometime in future)

As soon as I got this, I had a question for myself. Why do I need it? Here is whatI found:

I am from India and most of my family and friends are in India. This will help me in 2 ways:
1) All my friends and family can call me for a very cheap price as Republic Wireless has offered all carriers in the world a very cheap way to pass their traffic directly to them instead of paying heavy fees to other carriers to route the call internationally.
2) I frequently go back to India to meet family and for business. While I am there the same Republic Wireless phone with the world Wi-Fi number will work anywhere where there is a wifi. India is very advanced now, even in my village (Mohtli) there are many wifi networks available. This empowers all my clients, office, friends in USA reach me directly without a need of international calling enabled on their phone.

I went ahead and booked the number of my choice for free. I even went ahead and reserved a number for my wife ( even when she is not registered with them, I think they are very generous to allow anyone). Here is the link http://worldwifi.republicwireless.com

Now I am waiting for 2012 when they will make this number available and functional. Once the feature is ready Republic Wireless will be back in touch and will let me know how to link the World Wi-Fi number with the Republic phone and my primary domestic number.

I am excited to use this new feature and technology and wish the very best to Republic Wireless.

His name is prominent on the search and I could clearly see a difference in activity. His blog is very well established and he is a regular writer.  Now I wanted to also see if his blog performs far better on performance. Below is a performance comparison video that I made at http://www.webpagetest.org . It is clearly evident from this video that performance makes no difference.

Lesson: If you are serious about climbing the search page ranking ladder, write regularly and frequently.

I very well remember the first time I created a Microsoft project plan and I was struggling on strategy to put a plan in place. There was nobody to mentor me. It is very essential that we start right. Here is what I found very useful for me:

  1. Identify tasks and Create task list
  2. Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  3. Group the tasks based on functional or criteria in WBS
  4. Estimate every task in the WBS
  5. Then move all this information to Microsoft Project Plan or any other project management tool or you can even do step 1-4 inside the tool. I personally love to do with paper and pencil and then move it to software.

Since last week the .XXX domains are available for the adult entertainment companies. So now any porn company can have yourcompanyname.XXX registered and use your name and loyal customers to increase their porn business and tarnish yourcompany image. But the good news is that there is a cooling-off period till Oct 28. All the companies outside of the porn space have enough time to protect their brands by taking a preventive measure of registering their trademark with .XXX before Oct 28.

In a worst case scenario if you choose not to reserve your domain, be ready to spend few thousand dollars in litigation cost or spend up to few millions if you choose to buy your domain back from a reseller.

The .XXX registry is operated by ICM Registry LLC. In order to reserve your brand with .XXX domain please go to a domain name registrar like networksolutions, godaddy.com. Please find the region specific list below with the links to the respective domain registration company.

The best answer I know today is Product is a software that you sell and no customization while Service is built to be sold with customizations as per the requirements. Just like a MS Office Software is a product and SAP is a service.
